Dr. Marie Ammerlaan is a general practitioner who is trained to assist women give birth at the delivery room. During her training, she noticed that an important proportion of women arrived at the hospital afraid of what was coming ahead. These fears and apprehensions impacted the course of the birth of these babies. She decided to direct her practice in response to this need. Combining two passions, she offers her services in maternal psychiatry. Dre Ammerlaan did her residency at the Université de Sherbrooke and the Université de Montréal. She also has a diploma in Logotherapy and Existential Analysis from the Ottawa Institute Of Logotherapy. Her goal as a family physician is to integrate physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing in all aspects of health. She helps families maintain balance as a preventive way to remain healthy.

Dr. Ramdane Tafer obtained his Doctorate in Medicine from McGill University in 2021 before continuing his residency in Family Medicine at UMF Saint Mary’s in Montreal. This combination demonstrates a diversity of practice, as well as countless opportunities for lifelong learning.

He advocates collaboration and a patient-centered approach to providing quality care, building trusting relationships and ensuring continuity of treatment. His commitment to holistic, preventive medicine guides his day-to-day, where he values the overall well-being of his patients.

Dre Lyne Tardif obtained her doctorate in Medicine at Sherbrooke University, and then did her residency at the UFM of Sherbrooke and CHUS hospital.

She practices medicine since 2015 and loves the diversity that offers family medicine.  It is the versatility and humanism   that is found in family medicine that motivates her to exercise in this specialty.  She is an attentive professional that cares to give a quality service for the well-being of the patients.

Dre Mikaële Lemieux obtained her Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Sherbrooke in 2017, then continued her residency in family medicine at UMF in Drummondville and at Sainte-Croix Hospital.

Dre Lemieux appreciates the diversity that family medicine practice offers, as well as supporting families throughout the different stages of life. She believes in the importance of a partnership relationship with the patient and is committed in providing humane medicine and focused on people. For her, listening is the basis of any trusting relationship between a patient and his doctor.

While offering comprehensive care for the various pathologies encountered in family medicine, she demonstrates a particular interest in pediatrics, sexual health, dermatology as well as mental health.

At the end of a university career punctuated by studies in law and chemistry, Dr. Nathan Toledano completed his Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Sherbrooke in 2016. Having continued his training in the hospitals of the CHUM, he obtained his specialization in General Medicine at the University of Montreal.

Attracted by the diversity of cases as well as by the comprehensive care offered by family medicine, his approach focuses on the concerns and needs of the patient in order to establish a relationship based on listening and trust, two essential elements for a therapeutic plan success.

Dre Buruian completed a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine at the University of Montreal before undertaking her studies in medicine. She obtained her Doctorate in Medicine at the same university in 2016 and continues d her residency in family medicine at UMF Richelieu-Yamaska, affiliated with the University of Sherbrooke.

She chose family medicine for the challenge to provide patients with of comprehensive care as well as for the wide variety of pathologies encountered.

Dr. Buruian enjoys taking care of a diverse clientele. Her training has enabled her to understand the value of a human approach to care and she is committed to remaining available to her patients. She knows the importance of multidisciplinarity in family medicine.
